The goal is to provide a welcoming setting where members can interact in a friendly manner, thereby fostering closer and more meaningful connections among them.
Event Overview :
The second edition of the Change Makers event took place on Thursday, June 27, at the Villa des Arts in Casablanca. This special event brought together over 250 volunteers, partners, and donors from the Jadara Foundation for an evening rich in exchanges and discoveries.
Upon arrival at the Villa des Arts, participants were guided to their respective zones, each identifiable by a color: yellow, purple, pink, and green. The event began with a unique networking game: each participant had to retrieve a badge that was not theirs and find their own badge by interacting with others. This activity allowed participants to break the ice and make new contacts within just 30 minutes.
In parallel, a special exhibition of testimonials from the book "Ascensions" was organized. Before starting the networking, participants had the opportunity to explore inspiring stories of success and courage through this exhibition. QR codes were placed on the tables, enabling participants to learn more about other guests. Additionally, suggestion cards were available for attendees to submit ideas, which could be dropped in nearby ballot boxes.
Prizes were awarded to the best networkers: those who collected the most business cards, took the most selfies, recommended the most volunteers, and indicated the most hours to be dedicated to the Jadara Foundation for the upcoming year.
Two major stands marked the event:
- Stand for the Book "Ascensions": We took the opportunity to introduce the book "Ascensions: 22 Remarkable Stories of Social Ascension." Our goal was to sell 45 copies to support one young person. During the event, we sold ten books, contributing to our support objective.
- Stand for the Jad App: We introduced the Jad application, allowing volunteers to discover a new way to assist young people in their professional orientation. Additionally, those who wished could schedule appointments to record videos sharing their expertise and professional and academic journeys.
This second edition of Change Makers not only enabled participants to strengthen their networks but also to discover and support the important initiatives of JADARA Foundation.
