Nearly 22 years ago, a determined young girl sought to take her destiny into her own hands and pursue an education worthy of her potential. She walked through the doors of a private school with a simple yet bold request: to receive a free education. This quest for knowledge, a symbol of hope and opportunity, inspired a group of friends who were moved by her unwavering perseverance and her desire to succeed despite financial obstacles.

Captivated by her ambition and resilience, these friends decided to unite around an idea that would change lives:
in 2001, they founded JADARA Foundation (formerly known as the Moroccan Student Foundation – FME). Their mission was clear:
to enable talented young individuals from underprivileged backgrounds to access quality education, thus offering them the chance to realize their dreams and build a better future.

Since its inception, the foundation has been committed to addressing the educational needs of hundreds of young people by providing scholarships, personalized support, and tailored training. Using the inspiring journey of this young girl as a catalyst, JADARA has built a reputation as an organization dedicated to education, youth empowerment, and combating socio-economic exclusion.
The progress made over the past two decades is impressive. Thanks to the support of generous donors, partners, and an engaged community, JADARA has been able to expand its impact and reach an increasing number of youth. Today, the foundation continues to invest in the development of skills and the professional integration of Moroccan youth, launching innovative initiatives that address the current challenges of the job market.
Thus, the story of this young girl who dared to ask for help has evolved into a collective movement benefiting thousands of others, proving that solidarity and community engagement can truly change lives.
